Anett Potzsch (1980 Gold Medalist)
Anett Potzsch (born June 3, 1960) is a German figure skater.
Potzsch was born in Karl-Marx-Stadt, GDR (today renamed Chemnitz, Germany) in 1960.
She represented the GDR (East Germany) in the ladies events at international championships and in 1980 became the Olympic Champion, as well as world champion in 1978 and 1980. She also won the European title four times, from 1977 to 1980. Her coach was Jutta Müller.
Potzsch was married to Axel Witt, the brother of Katarina Witt. The couple has a child named Claudia Rauschenbauch. She also became a German figure skating champion, but in pair skating.....more Wikipedia data
